5.1 Our clients use our Services to manage information about their own customers, leads and patients. For that information, our client controls what is collected and how it is used, and we process it on our client’s behalf to provide the Services. That client’s own privacy policy governs it.
5.2 If you are a customer of one of our clients and want to access, correct or delete your information, please contact that business directly. We will assist our clients in responding to such requests as needed.
5.3 Clients are responsible for having the right to collect and use the information they store in our Services, including any consent required by law. Clients in health care, including telehealth, are responsible for determining whether their use of the Services meets the privacy laws that apply to health information, such as HIPAA, and must not store protected health information in the Services unless appropriate agreements are in place.
7. Where information is stored
We are based in British Columbia, Canada. Our service providers, including HighLevel, store and process information in the United States and possibly other countries. Information stored outside Canada is subject to the laws of those countries and may be accessible to their courts, law enforcement and national security authorities. By using our Services, you acknowledge this transfer.
8. How long we keep information
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy. Generally:
- Account information is kept while your account is active and for up to 6 months after it ends.
- Billing, commission and tax records are kept for as long as tax and accounting laws require, which in Canada is generally 6 years.
- Marketing contact information is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.
When information is no longer needed, we delete it or make it anonymous.
9. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect personal information, including access controls, encrypted connections and reputable service providers. No system is completely secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security. Please keep your login details private and let us know right away if you believe your account has been compromised. If a breach creates a real risk of significant harm, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as the law requires.
